World is trying out many ways to cap the global rise in temperature. Two years ago in the Paris agreement at COP21, world committed to cap global rise in temperature. This become the hot topic when President Trump told that he was pulling the US out and now Syria is leaving from the agreement. Apart from this two major emitting industries, International fright and aviation had been exempted from the COP21. A lot change has came into being over the past years. With the advent of technology, information and tools it is clear for industry players on how to make a difference.

Many freight forwarders sign up to the programs like SmartWay and Green Freight Europe. Other companies  like Wlmart’s Project Gigaton has been influenced by Good corporate citizenship. Large maritime companies called on heads of state to force carbon emissions cuts on their industry.

On the 2^nd anniversary of Paris agreement, every shipping service offered will include a transparent CO2 footprint estimation, to helpmcustomers optimize route and mode selection.

Green freight has gained significant momentum. New tools to support, carriers, forwarders and shipers increasingly harness new technology, optimizing process and advocates for green freight.
